In his July 2011 radio show, Lloyd interviews Vivian Parker, a biologist and activist attempting to protect Battle Creek, which flows down the side of Lassen Peak in Northern California. State and federal agencies are spending $130 million in a salmon restoration project on Battle Creek at the same time Gov. Jerry Brown is permitting clear-cutting of the watershed above the salmon project, which is causing erosion and negative impacts on the creek. Does the left hand know what the right hand is doing? An eye-opening interview.

stop clearcutting the Sierra!
Great interview - we are going to need concerned conscious Californians across the state to stop the aggressive clear cutting by Sierra Pacific Industries. Over 65% of California's water comes from the Sierra and we can't afford any more harm to our watersheds. Letting Governor Brown and Resource Sec. John Laird know that this should be a top priority is a good place to start. Thanks for the great interview Vivian and Lloyd!
